Car Interiors

I love cars. Cars are probably my second love, or passion, next to hockey and graphic design. And on the subject of cars, I think the market is moving in the right direction, in terms of electric and hybrid vehicles. The Chevrolet Volt could potentially put GM ahead of the foreign automakers. Ford and Chrysler are also making significant steps in the right direction in order to better compete into the future. But the electric vehicles and hybrids aren’t want bother me, I like the technology. It’s the interior of them. GM has some real revolutionary technology with the Chvrolet Volt. I mean, it is some really good stuff. But when Chevrolet has some new, awesome technology, what do they do? They put one of the ugliest interiors they could muster up in the car. Seriously, go google "Chevrolet Volt Interior" and you’ll see what I mean. I just don’t get it. Car’s interiors (and exteriors) are suppose to evolve. Not take some "revolutionary" step, then it just looks weird. But it’s not just GM. Ford and Chrysler do it, too. I guess they’re trying to make it look futuristic or something, but somebody forgot to tell them that they’re doing a terrible job, and car interiors have to progress to that stage. That center console almost looks like the next generation iPod

AC/DC Black Ice Review

Yes, yes, I know. AC/DC’s newest album Black Ice was released a few months ago back in October. Well I’ve wanted to write a review on their latest CD for a while now, but I was just waiting for the right time (really, just waiting until I got my blog up! :P). So now I suppose I’m finally getting around to it. Here’s a breakdown of the general feel of the CD, and every song. Enjoy.

If you haven’t heard one of AC/DC’s latest songs from their newest album, Black Ice, there is no doubt that you would be able to recognize who the artist is immediately. This is because like all AC/DC albums, this one sticks to their proven formula of sweet riffs, heavy beats, and lyrics about girls, hell, and rock. While Black Ice has no intention to draw in new fans, it most definitely sounds more modern than the group’s older albums such as Highway to Hell, and Back in Black.

So here’s my blog

Hey! I’m Austin, though a lot of people call me Snowy (I’ll get to that in another blog). You probably stumbled upon my little blog through my website, artstin.com. So I’m a junior in high school. I’m president and co-founder of the Dodgeball club we have at our school, and I play on our ice hockey team as a goalie.

I’m really going to be using this blog mostly for current events and what I think of them, or just things I find interesting (well, that pretty much covers every topic, doesn’t it?).

I’m not exactly sure what else to put here, but I suppose I’ll update it in time. If you have any questions, just feel free to comment a post!
